The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest financial successes, regularly earning massive paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the customary stare-down, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really happening.
